The Adam Group recommends that you have a local PCP who knows your medical history and supports YOUR medical choices regarding all known COVID treatments. Ideally, your PCP will have privileges at a local hospital, in case you need in-patient care.
DO NOT ADMIT TO A HOSPITAL FOR IN-PATIENT COVID TREATMENT WITHOUT A PCP THAT SUPPORTS YOUR MEDICAL FREEDOM.
Doing so will leave you without the ability to choose your own care. Durable powers of attorney and conservatorships will mean nothing, and you will be isolated from family and advocates to help you enforce your patient rights and make your own decisions.
Q. What are some tips for selecting a PCP?
A. Check out reviews of potential PCPs written by other patients. Ask about pricing for services upfront and get a price list of services the PCP offers. Compare PCPs in your area. Check these state medical boards to see if a potential PCP has a disciplinary record:
Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners*
Tennessee Board of Osteopathic Examination
*Keep in mind that a recent news article on NewsChannel5 Nashville website reports that the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners can formally discipline (including suspend and revoke medical licenses) physicians they claim are spreading COVID-19 vaccine "misinformation" and "disinformation." So, do your own research to find out why a potential PCP has a disciplinary action on his or her record.
Q. What if I have a PCP but I'm not sure how he will help me prevent COVID, treat COVID at home, or treat me in-hospital for COVID?
A. Have a direct and honest conversation with your PCP and ask him what protocols he recommends to help you prevent and treat COVID. Ask him if he will prescribe elements of protocols listed in Preventive and At-Home Treatments. If your PCP tells you to get one of the EUA "vaccinations" and offers nothing else, find another PCP. If your PCP refuses to treat you using any of the preventive and at-home treatment protocols, find another PCP. If your PCP supports NIH COVID Treatment Guidelines for in-hospital use of Remdesivir and ventilators, find another PCP.
Q. Can I just use a telehealth PCP for preventive and at-home COVID treatment?
A. Yes. There are several telehealth and telemedicine options here. However, everyone should (and must!) have a local PCP in case of emergencies or hospitalizations.
Q. What if I can't find a PCP close to where I live?
A. Contact us through the link below, and we will help you find a PCP close to you who will respect your medical choices and help you stay healthy and beat COVID.
